Learning the hard way

This week has been long, tough and humbling.

I’ve learnt quite a few lessons about running a project and it ain’t all been pretty.

Through it all though I am thankful for a few things about my bosses:

• that they value integrity above speed.

• that they value safety above keeping to a master schedule.

• that they value their kids above their work.

That’s been enough to keep me chugging along.
