Blind architects have a real feel for the site lines

Blind architects have a real feel for the site lines:

One of my greatest fears as an architect is the thought of losing my vision. Architecture is such a visual medium that I couldn’t imagine being able to practice without my sight.

This hasn’t stopped other architects from continuing their passions and actually making meaningful contributions to how buildings are perceived.

I especially love this quote:

“A blind architect is specially sensitive to tactile, acoustic and smelling details of the Architecture,” Pereira wrote. “… The important thing is not stop working.”
